Baroque castle in nature paradise
The baroque castle Lenno dating from 1662 is prominently situated over Włen a small city from the Middle Ages in Dolnośląski. The castle is already partly renovated. Currently there are a hostel and several standard rooms. The hostel is in one of the main buildings. The standard rooms are situated in an annex and each have their own facilities.
The surrounding area is a real paradise. It is a historical health resort region with very clean air. Nature is all-embracing with shimmering summers, flowering orchards, snowwhite hard winters. Endless woodpaths, open fields and horizons.
Sport-loving guests can enjoy hikingtrails, maneges for horse riding and many walking routes in the hilly region. In winter season the castle offers a ski retreat to enjoy your favourite winter sport activities nearby in Karpacz and Sklarska Poręba. It is a family friendly, value-for-money castle with good facilities in a wonderful region near the Karkonosze Mountains.
Castle Lenno is subject to a long-term restorationproject. You will stay (your choice) in the hostel or in a temporary annexbuilding which is situated next to the entrancebuilding with simple but neat rooms. Castle Lenno does not (yet) offer romantic suites. Suitable place for study seminars / courses.
Region
You are free to walk round the extensive land belonging to the property. During dawn or dusk you can spot roe or other game on this land.
Sports loving guests can enjoy many Moutainbike trails, go for a horseride at one of the many maneges. The many inviting hiking routes range from easy walking to challenging hikes.
There is a total of 300 kilometer bicycle routes laid out in the Iser and Sudeten moutains.
In winter the castle offers a retreat for skiing in nearby Karpacz and Sklarska Poreba.
Whatever sportsactivity you are looking for, from challenging hikes in fairytale winterlandscapes, tobogganning, rides with horsedrawn sleighs and skiing to snowboarding, everything can be found in the vicinity and for cheap prices. Take a sunbath or dream away in the shadow of the fruittrees in the fruitgarden embraced by the silence.
